Airtel yatatua changamoto za uhaba wa vitabu vya sayansi Katika shule ya Sekondari Mukulati Mkoani Arusha


Meneja Mauzo wa kampuni ya simu za mkononi ya Airtel mkoa wa Kilimanjaro, Paschal Bikomagu (kushoto) akimkabidhi baadhi ya vitabu vya sayansi kwa Diwani wa  kata ya Olkokola Joseph Laizer  kwa niaba ya shule ya sekondari Mukulati  mkoani Arusha  wakati wa mahafali ya 17 ya kidato cha nne ya shule hiyo.

Kampuni ya simu za mkononi ya Airtel  imeedelea kuungana na serikali katika kusaidia kuboresha maendeleo ya sekta ya elimu  nchini ambapo imetoa vitabu vya ziada na kiada  katika masomo ya sayansi kwa shule ya sekondari mukulati wilayani Arumeru mkoani Arusha.

Licha ya Kada ya sayansi kuwa ndio chimbuko kubwa  la wataalamu wengi katika fani mbalimbali bado  inatajwa kutofanya vizuri kutokana na uhaba wa miundombinu na vifaa stahiki ambayo ni muhimu kwa maendeleo ya kada hiyo.  

Meneja wa Airtel mkoa wa Kilimanjaro  Paschal Mikomagu  akizungumzia mchango wa kampuni hiyo wakati wa mahafali ya 17 ya shule ya sekondari mukulati amesema Airtel kwa kutambua changamoto mbalimbali ndani ya kada ya sayansi nchini ikiwemo uhaba wa vitabu vya kujifunzia  imeamua kuwa na utaratibu wa kugawa vitabu hivyo.  Leo tumehudhuria mahafali  na kuchangia kutatua moja ya kero zinazokumba sekta ya elimu na tuaamini kwa msaada huu wa vitabu vitaongeza ufaulu wa wanafunzi na kusaidia shule kufanya vizuri kitaaluma.

Tutaendelea kutimiza dhamira yetu kwa vitengo ya kusaidia kutatua changamoto mbalimbali mashuleni na kuhakikisha tunaboresha uwiano wa vitabu kwa wanafunzi hadi kitabu kimoja kwa mtoto moja au wawili.

Kwa upande wake Diwani wa  kata ya Olkokola Joseph laizer  leo ni sisi Airtel imetoa msaada huu wa vitabu ambavyo vitasaidia shule hapa , lakini zaidi tunawaomba Airtel waendelee kujitolea kushirikiana nasi  na kutufadhili katika ujenzi wa maabara katika shule hii ili kuweza kufikia malengo tuliyowekewa ya kuhakikisha kila shule ya sekondari inajenga maabara kwa ajili ya mafunzo ya ziada.

Akiongea mara baada ya kupokea vitabu hivyo MkeeVitalisi Martine mkuu wa shule  kwa msaada huu umeongeza uwiano wa vitabu shule hapa ambapo kwa sasa kitabu kimoja kitatatumika na wanafunzi wawili,  napenda kuwhakikishia vitabu hivi havitakaa kwenye kabati bali vitatumika kwa manufaa yaliyokusudiwa ili atimaye watoto waweze kupata ujuzi kupitia vitabu hivi.

Nao baadhi ya wanafunzi walito maoni yao kuhusu mchango huu shule ni hapo ambapo Happy Lyimo alisema natoa shukurani za dhati kwa niaba ya wanafunzi wenzangu kwa Airtel kwa kutupatia mchango wa vitabu vingi vya sayansi. Nimatumaini yangu kuwa vitabu hivi vitasaidia kuinua taaluma kwa wanafunzi na  shule kwa ujumla.

Airtel continues its campaign to support education in Tanzania

Airtel Tanzania Ltd has once again demonstrated its commitment in collaborating with the government in improving the education sector through provision of Text books to Mukulat Secondary school in Arumeru District, Arusha Region.

Despite sciences being the source of experts in many academic and professional fields, there are still major infrastructure and resources challenges such that students continue to perform poorly. One of the most acute challenges are lack of text books necessary for students to learn as well as teaching aid for teachers. Having recognized this, Airtel is committed towards addressing these challenges working with the Ministry of education through its SHULE YETU project.

Speaking at the 17 graduation ceremony at the Mukulat Secondary School, Airtel Kilimanjaro Sales Manager Paschal Bikomagu said “Airtel is today providing much needed sciences text books to Mukulat believing that they will enable both students and teachers have better access to learning and teaching resources respectively and in turn enhance students’ pass marks. We believe this will uplift academic standards in the school and bring positive change in the science field.”

“We will continue our commitment in supporting various schools in the country through SHULE YETU project. Our Aim is to reach 1:1 student to book ratio.”  Added Paschal. 

Speaking at the ceremony the Councilor for Olkokola ward where the school resides Joseph Laizer said “today we are happy that Airtel has reached our community, supporting us to tackle challenges in the education sector. The books for physics, chemistry, biology and Mathematics will greatly enhance learning experience and will make a major contribution towards our vision of producing experts and professionals in various fields. We request Airtel to support our efforts in making sure every school in this ward is equipped with laboratories for sciences practical lessons.

The Head Teacher of the school Mkee Vitalis Martine commended Airtel’s support indicating that the donation has brought the schools’s student to book ratio to 2:1. Adding that the school will make maximum use while taking good care of the books hence they can last long.

On behalf of the students Happy Lyimo expressed gratitude to Airtel for providing text books to them indicating that they will help them in their studies and bringing academic excellence to their school.
